” Memory Verse
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
John 15:7
Today’s Devotional
See the description of the Holy Spirit;
“For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.” 2 John 1:2, 1 John 3:24b
Jesus said;
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” John 15:26
He calls him the spirit of truth that proceeds from the father, the very description, Jesus gave of himself: see John 8:42, John 14:6.
Truly, they are one and the Bible tells us:
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26
Just like the word of God is the reality, the Holy Spirit helps our limitations; limitation of position, time and information- he steps in and makes the whole matter known to God and enforces the whole counsel of God that deals with the situation in its entirety! No wonder he tells us: 1 Corinthians 14:2
