Today’s Devotional
Has it really dawned on you that someone said he would take full responsibility of your concerns and he would never complain? He told you, no matter what it was, he would handle it and how true, when his Apostles walked with him, they were well taken care of at every given moment and he has not changed:
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 1 Peter 5:7
There is only one action required of you “casting”.
“You mean I should not hold on to the concern, I should let it go, but isn’t that irresponsible?”
Responding to God’s word is never irresponsible, it is wisdom. If God tells you to give it to him, it means he alone can handle it, and every time you spend trying to take care of it is just delaying the inevitable!
How do you cast it on him? Tell him it’s now his and thank him cause he has it handled:
"Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life," Philippians 4:6, TPT
