” Memory Verse
“For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”
1 Timothy 4:5
Today’s Devotional
Just like Jesus showed us that prayer separates us away from the pitfalls of temptations and challenges, we can likewise pray for others and get them far removed from such pitfalls just like Jesus did:
“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:32
Listen to his voice of faith!
He didn’t say, “if you get converted”, he was certain that because he prayed, there would be a restoration! That’s how you intercede for people- with faith!
There are people who pray for others just to say they prayed, they would be most shocked if there was true change. Don’t be that way, pray in faith for people- knowing that because you prayed, there would be a change in their desires, their actions and responses.
There is no decree that there must be a black sheep in every family, your family should be different.
Even though they probably didn’t believe strongly in him at first, Mark 3:31, John 7:5, eventually his relatives came around: Acts 1:14, 1 Corinthians 9:5, talking about Jesus.
Pray and expect results.
