Today’s Devotional
Listen to what Jesus said:
“Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.” John 8:15
Remarkably, he said this after he missed an opportunity to judge a guilty woman and her accusers; he truly lived the life he taught.
So we can learn from him- don’t judge anybody according to the flesh; you could be thoroughly mistaken, hear what Apostle Paul said:
“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.” 2 Corinthians 5:16
He knew Jesus after the flesh, and others like him, judged him carnally, related with him likewise and gave him no honor and as such missed their miracle/blessings: Mark 6:3-5
But Jesus behaved differently- irrespective of their wickedness, he judged them the way God did- worthy enough to receive his love, redemption and his life:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...” John 3:16
