Today’s Devotional
The Bible tells us:
“Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.” Proverbs 22:24-25
He shows that your association would not only cause issues for you but can make you into something else:
“An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.” Proverbs 29:22
It’s not just that you are angry once in a while, he says you set a trap for your soul and become an angry man/ a furious man. Jesus said:
“…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
Followership can make or mar a man, and because God’s steward should love good men and goodness; it matters those who get your attention in love! Those who inspire you, a steward of God must be very clear about friendships and associations.
“I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.” Psalms 119:63
