Today’s Devotional
Hear what God told Abraham:
“…Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” Genesis 15:1
He said he is a reward and qualifies himself as the reward that exceeds “great”! There is none like him and so when he planned to give to us; he gave us himself.
Now he lives in us, the one who said this:
“For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” Psalms 50:10
dwells in you, take your eyes off money and gold! A heart captured by the love of money would only have troubles- it’s inevitable:
“People who want to be rich fall into all sorts of temptations and traps. They are caught by foolish and harmful desires that drag them down and destroy them.” 1 Timothy 6:9, CEV
Instead realize with awe what God has done, how he has given you himself and set you in glory, meditate and enjoy this beautiful truth:
“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” John 17:22
