Today’s Devotional
Jesus had said:
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:36
A life of prayer is our separation; he says when we pray always we would be accounted worthy to escape all that would come upon others who aren’t Christians and aren’t praying.
Prayer separates you, when ordinarily you should be overcome by the challenges and temptations of this life, with prayer, your spirit is strengthened and you remain standing, hear Jesus:
“And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.” Luke 22:46
So no matter the temptation, you are different and you don’t cower because you prayed. See how the Apostles received boldness when they prayed, boldness that enabled them preach despite the threats from the Jewish rulers: Acts 4:31
