Today’s Devotional
Your life’s expression is a reflection of what you truly believe, and what you believe is morphed by the doctrines you submit yourself to, so learn of Jesus:
“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.” John 7:16
The doctrine he espoused wasn’t his- they weren’t his own lofty ideas put together after his observation of society, people and life; his doctrine was God’s doctrine, he not only taught them, he lived them:
“…all that Jesus began both to do and teach,” Acts 1:1
And he said anybody who would do what he taught would know he was saying what God said because they’d have results: John 7:17
You have to be fully persuaded that:
- The word is truth- anything outside the word and doesn’t submit to the word is a lie
- The word is righteous- eventually and always, God’s word would be proven right and correct.
Such persuasions would allow you give yourself solely to the word in your thoughts, decisions, words and actions, and because the word is excellence; your life become and expression of the excellence an perfections of God.
