” Memory Verse
“Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.”
Titus 1:9
Today’s Devotional
God’s word is faithful through generations:
“LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.” Psalms 119:89-90
God’s word is not dormant, this means the word isn’t just outlasting time as a landmark but is living and active:
“…the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23
Meaning while you hold on to the word, be rest assured that there are activities- spearheaded by the word- curating a victorious outcome. When he told us to wait on him he expected us to do so in hope, knowing that the word that we have abandoned ourselves to is ensuring the right conditions for our victory:
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13
