Today’s Devotional
Isn’t it amazing that Jesus didn’t say “if you really present the situation in its whole context and as vastly as you can”, whatever you ask you’d get? Instead he says when you put the word inside of you, and dwell in God’s word, anything YOU WILL, shall be done!
The word is truth; the word is the reality:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17
Only God’s word understands the situation well enough and interestingly only the word can proffer a solution:
“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:13
So if God tells you to get to the word- find out from the word his position on the matter, bring it in your petition and get your answer because your understanding of the situation would always be somewhat limited but his is never:
“Everything has its limits, except your commands.” Psalms 119:96, ERV
