Today’s Devotional
When you realize that you’ve been too logical for God and his word, decide for a change and choose to believe God- hear what Jesus asked Martha:
“…Believest thou this?” John 11:26
So you can choose to believe God, and as you spend time with his word, faith is imparted to your spirit (Romans 10:17). Let your mind and experience in life be far more elevated than those of the Apostles that carried on with their hardened heart up until after his resurrection:
“And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.” Matthew 28:17
Warranting a well deserved rebuke from Jesus:
“Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” Mark 16:14
Remember, it is faith that pleases and impresses God. “I’m a strong skeptic.” “It’s very hard to convince me.”; All these might sound tough but they’re very unimpressive to God.
