Today’s Devotional
A man who expects peace in heaven, even though Jesus was right there physically in front of him would search for peace and never find:
“Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.” Proverbs 17:24
And there are people like that, they have delegated God’s ability and help in some certain situations to “some time in heaven”! Their expectation that guides their responses and actions is limited by their knowledge and sadly some people would get destroyed:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6
Including Christians:
“That is why many in your group are sick and weak, and many have died.” 1 Corinthians 11:30, ERV
This should not be you, see what the Bible says:
“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16
Peace by all means! Peace in your soul, body, family and finances always and by any means necessary is promised you- expect accordingly!
